What is the structure of Italian in Action?
Italian in Action is a monthly membership program structured around 5 key milestones, each consisting of 5 modules. The program features four main components: on-demand and self-paced video lessons and real-life exercises, biweekly group sessions with Martina and Clara, weekly student-led practice sessions, and an interactive student community.
How do the biweekly group sessions work?
There are two types of live group sessions: Spontaneous Conversations and Cultural Conversations ( two live events per month). These sessions are hosted on Zoom, and you can access the calendar of upcoming sessions once you join Italian in Action. The teacher will join these sessions as a guide and facilitator, providing direct and expert feedback. During these live sessions, you will have the chance to speak in Italian with the teacher or in breakout rooms, and to discover interesting aspects of the Italian language and culture
How do the student-led practice sessions operate?
The Student Language Lab is an open-access Zoom meeting available 24/7, where you can practice Italian with fellow students. This is a student-led space, so the teacher is not present. You can find practice partners in our community, arrange a day and time that works for everyone, and then join the provided link on the platform.
